We enjoyed our stay. Dry private. Took a little while to get to it but the road was paved so that was good. Enjoyed the hot tub They should definitely consider replacing the mattress in the bedroom. No closets so a dresser would be nice.

A wonderful tucked away cabin for a private retreat. My wife and I had an amazing time for our anniversary soaking in the hot tub, hiking the trails nearby, a fully stocked kitchen allowed us to not have to use any of the pots and pans we brought, and a nice big fire pit to warm up next to when it get dark and a bit chilly. Overall a 10/10 experience and we hope to return again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was in a quiet place for a nice getaway from the city. The kitchenware was plentiful and all in good condition. We found the beds and couches to be comfortable. The host is absolutely phenomenal – responsive, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area.

I would give it five stars all the way around.
But just like the previous reviews, the downstairs bed was absolutely horrible. You would have to have the spine of a noodle to be comfortable after twenty minutes of laying in it.
I ignored the comments because I can normally sleep on anything. But I was wrong. haha
Overall, beautiful place and great communication with the host.

The cabin is lovely and secluded- just what we wanted for a tech-free weekend! Check in was easy and the house was well-equipped with the things we needed to make meals and stay cozy. They even had kid plates and utensils that worked for our toddler. 🙂
We hiked at Cacapon Resort State Park (highly recommend!!) and made great use of the fire pit .
All of the mattresses and the couches were new and very comfortable! We slept great and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings!

We were very happy to return for a relaxing four-night getaway over the winter holiday. The place is perfect for a simple and secluded stay in the woods for us and our two outdoor-loving dogs. The listing is accurate in its description of the cabin: it has a woodsy charm and is equipped with all of the comforts of home — all we needed to bring was food and drinks as we don’t like to leave the place to go shopping while we are there. We made great use of the fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and hot tub. Tony & team are always incredibly communicative and responsive, including when we reached out with issues upon check-in. We would absolutely return again in the future!

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was as described and the hot tub and fireplace were amazing. I grilled up some steaks, drank some beer, soaked in the hot tub, and lived it up for the night. I loved my time spent here. Absolute luxury.

Everything was great! Nice cozy private cabin in the woods with fireplace, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. Well equipped kitchen. Internet, heat, and hot water all worked well. Contactless check-in and check-out was simple. Just bring your own firewood and drinking water if you don’t prefer the tap water as advertised. Would stay again!

Overall the cabin fit exactly what I was looking for: a place to get some privacy and relaxation. The photos don’t do it justice, as there are newer couches and kitchen appliances. Plenty of warnings/comments about the water and “rustic”-ness of the cabin set expectations and was not a dealbreaker. The jacuzzi is definitely a plus.
The recent comments about the downstairs mattress was correct sadly, the mattress sunk a lot in the middle (which made my back sore) and we discovered that the mattress was flipped upside down too. Honestly once the mattress gets replaced I’m definitely coming back!

We had a great stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was also very clean. Only down fall was very uncomfortable master bed that needs to be replaced. I noticed it was also written in the memory book provided as well. The location is perfect with a cute town only 20ish minutes away and a few hiking trails to choose from.

Cute Cabin: A little dusty and a little dated, but it’s a nice place to getaway with newer dishes and furniture. The TV is new; it’s not the older one from the photos so you don’t have to pack a DVD player—you can Netflix and chill if that’s your thing. The water pressure isn’t the greatest so you’ll have to spend extra time rinsing your hair. The pillows are big and soft. The cabin allows you to feel secluded. The hot tub feels private. The surrounds are peaceful and you may even catch some deer moving through. My husband & I enjoyed ourselves.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
Pros–secluded, peaceful, rustic. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and looking at the stars! It was pretty clean and the host kept in communication. It was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway.
Cons–The 1st floor bed/mattress is VERY uncomfortable. Definitely needs replaced asap. The cabin could use some overall maintenance repair–there’s a cracked window, worn deck steps, etc. Also the unavoidable sulfer water smell.
With a few updates, this cabin could be 5 stars. I hope the adjustments are made soon because we’d love to stay again in the future!

This cabin in the woods is the perfect place for a mental reboot. So quiet and so beautiful. A hummingbird visited us on the deck 3 different times and there were plenty of deer too. We used the fire pit and enjoyed some stargazing with (lucky for us) clear skies.

We had a great time there. Beautiful area tucked away in the mountains. 30 min drive to my favorite Berkeley Springs restaurant The Naked Lounge. We went there to relax in nature and in comfort. We got both.
The host got back extremely fast. Everything is as advertised.

Very beautiful surrounding area with views of the valley. Cabin is quaint and has an open floor plan. Dining options are a bit limited, but available within 30 minutes.
Bath is an amazingly beautiful small town with hospitable locals during our stay. We loved the local coffee/breakfast spot and had a great time walking around town.
The only downside was the cabins water quality, which was pretty rough. Heavy sulfur smell and probably not great to use as drinking water. My son left the water in the bath overnight and the next morning the whole tub was dark red, likely from a chemical reaction of the heavy metals and oxidation. Owners may want to invest in a water treatment or softening system.
We certainly would stay again, the water quality isn’t nearly enough to keep us from potentially renting in the future.

The place was good enough. Clean with the exception of the rafters in the living room (think spider eggs; ick). The big issue was no one in our group was the least bit interested in showering bc it smelled horrible. We’re used to well water at home; but this was next level and stunk the whole cabin up. We purchased a couple large water jugs for drinking and teeth brushing and no one washed hair until we got home. The cabin was perfect for what we were doing otherwise. Great set-up in a beautiful peaceful area.

Loved it! Perfect peaceful getaway. Matches photos, great instructions, very responsive host, and everything working well. Including jacuzzi, sanitary and well maintained!
It’s a cabin in the woods so naturally a touch rustic. Water is fine but has a slight tint from iron content (excluding jacuzzi) so you may want to bring some if that bothers you – or not if your iron deficient!

Tony’s place was not bad. Alot of the pictures did not match the house. the hot tub was dirty and green from the sulfur water, that also smelt really bad. they did come up and drain it and tell it so it got a little better. the home itself was fine. I personally would not return.

Wonderful getaway in the woods! We saw and heard so much wildlife and could see the stars so clearly at night from the hot tub. The listing was not kidding when they said the water had a slight sulfur smell, and I recommend bringing your own drinking water.

we booked this trip to reconnect as a couple, it’s a very intimate setting, some things have changed since the photos were uploaded. The hot tub is on the deck next to the front door, great location, the sectional couch has been replaced by 2 couches, not a big deal. The house was clean and orderly, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. About half and hour to Berkeley Springs, lots of little shops and food and several spa’s. Will deff look for one of Tony’s listing’s again in the future!

This was my a great find, I suggest making all communications on accessing the cabin prior to driving up the mountain, the signal is spotty until you can get on wifi to communicate with the host. Grab everything you need before you get there as its about a 30 min ride back to town so you can relax and enjoy the view and cabin. I love to visit again great place.

We had a great time and loved that we were able to bring the dogs! The place is cozy and private. Once you get past the smell of the water, it’s hard to leave! I would go back.
The house could use some TLC, but all around, everything seems to be working as described.

This is a cute cabin for a couple but the loft beds can hear everything, even noise from the bathroom. Highly recommend bringing drinking water because both the hot and cold water smell like sulfur. While it was functional, some maintenance is needed: the mantles are not secure, one even fell off the wall when someone closed the door.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin. The space was so inviting-cozy, clean, and beautiful. The peaceful location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. This cabin is absolutely ideal! It’s in a quiet, peaceful location, but it’s easy to find and on a well-paved road. The host, Tony, is easy to get in touch with, and he is proactive with communication. He recommended some local places to eat, and he was super kind.
The water has a bit of a sulfur smell, but it is in next to a town known for mineral springs, so I guess that’s to be expected. It is also mentioned in the house manual.
This is a great cabin, and I hope we can come back someday!

We were very happy to return to this cabin in the woods to ring in the new year. Tony is very responsive and provides clear guidance prior to both check-in and check-out. The cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Our two dogs loved exploring the woods and we enjoyed sitting by the fire each evening. The hot tub was a bonus addition from our last stay! The only thing missing this year was snow 🙂 The listing is very accurate, and the cabin is equipped with all the comforts of home – all you really need to bring is food and drink. We look forward to returning in the future!

Great stay. Had everything we needed and wanted for a little weekend getaway. The only thing was the smell of any of the water coming from the sinks/shower. Resembled eggs. Wasn’t always there but definitely not a great smell. Candles masked the smell.
The home was cozy, comfortable and we had such a great time! Hot tub was maintained well and fire pit was definitely used. Would definitely go again!

My pipes froze and I had family in town. By the grace of God, Tony’s cabin was within 1.9 miles of my home. The cabin was a complete lifesaver and perfect for what we needed – heat, water and a wonderful place to stay. The cabin centrally located near hunting, fishing, biking, and both the Great Cacapon and Potomac Rivers. Tony replies instantly to messages and check up on us regularly. The cabin with rustic, clean and affordable. Thank you for saving the day!

Tony is an exceptional host. Very communicative and helpful. The cabin itself is beautiful, and has everything you could need. We utilized the fireplace and hot tub every day. The outdoor fire-pit was great once the wind died down. Our dog absolutely loved venturing around the woods. We will more than likely return to the cabin!
A few things to consider and prepare yourself for that we also saw in the reviews prior to booking:
– the main bed downstairs is really uncomfortable. We slept the second night upstairs in separate beds…which were better, but not by too much. The couches are very comfortable though!
– the water is quite sulphur-y. Be prepared for very smelly showers, sink water, etc. I have been exposed to this through some family members house and this was quite a bit worse. Trips to town for water are easy.
Based on the nightly price, we expected nicer beds and a main waterline filter. Hopefully these are addressed in good time to bring this place up to its true potential

Awesome cabin. Great outdoor area with hot tub and fire pit. Spacious and clean. Water has sulfur smell but that was something they are open about and we knew about, just stinky. Couldn’t get late checkout which we were sad about. Overall, we loved this place and will be back!!

Tony’s cabin felt like staying at your friends grandparents cabin in the woods. Very very private, cozy, and spacious. The hot tub on the porch was lovely and the fireplace was so nice to have fires in. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out in and relax. It could definitely use some love, but with a some fixes/upgrades it could be perfection. Tony was very responsive to all our concerns.
Tips for guests: if you plan to cook meals here I would bring some additional supplies. The pots/pans are not great and I ended up buying and leaving a baking sheet there because there was nothing to cook in the oven with. The water is bad, but filling up in Berkeley Springs was easy and free.

This cabin is a great choice for a rustic escape in the woods, offering seclusion, a cozy A-frame design, and a convenient 2.5 hr drive from DC. We loved the fire pit, large balcony, and especially the hot tub, which was ready upon arrival. However, there were some challenges: the Wi-Fi was spotty, the Roku TV required an account, the stove was finicky, and the fireplace, while lovely, created a lot of smoke inside. The main bed had a dip in the middle, which affected comfort, and the dishwasher didn’t work, requiring handwashing at the end of our stay. The well water also had a sulfur smell as others reviews mentioned, which was manageable. Despite these quirks, the cabin provided the authentic, woodsy atmosphere we were looking for, with plenty of towels, percolated coffee, and a charming location. If you’re after a peaceful, rustic experience and don’t mind a few rough edges, it’s a wonderful spot to unwind and connect with nature.

Friendly, proactive hosts. The cabin was clean and ready for us. Electrical and wifi worked great. We enjoyed the solitude and wildlife (lots of deer and frogs). The fire pit is big enough for a bonfire, we had to stretch to do smores. The water pressure is very low, it was hard to wash your hands let alone shower. The water is full of minerals, our dog’s bowl was mostly brown. We visited the baths in Berkeley Springs and filled up bottles with free, delicious, spring water. Be aware that the master bed has an old foam mattress that is no good if you suffer from back or joint pain.

If you are looking for a secluded spot away from everything, this is your place. The cabin is rustic, with enough amenities to make sure you feel comfortable. The fire pit and grill are great touches. Overall, I highly recommend.

The location was amazing!
It suited our needs adequately.
It was perfect for relaxation and the giant fire pit out front was very inviting.
I loved sitting on the porch. I loved opening the windows to fall asleep to the sounds of the outdoors.
Two of our three days we watched deer.
Tony’s communication was very good.
The biggest distraction to me was a very long list of maintenance items that needed addressed. None were earth shattering and everything was completely livable. But there are many “Berkley Springs area” cabins for similar cost and significantly better maintained.

The cabin was just what we were looking for. Secluded with a fire pit, hot tub, and great grill. Nice, tidy, and clean. Perfect for two people who wanted to get away from the city for a nice, quiet weekend. The surrounding woods were beautiful and the road was both slow, barely trafficked, and far enough away from the house that we didn’t even notice it was there. We would definitely stay again!

Tony was great! The cabin was very easy to get to and looked just like the photos. During the night a tree fell across the driveway and Tony answered right away was able to get it cleared out quickly. The hot tub was so amazing! My husband did get a tick on him so make sure after you walk the woods you look for ticks!

Tony’s cabin was truly an oasis of peace and quiet. The only sounds were the wind in the treetops, the crackling of the fireI had laid in, and the subtle hum of the hot tub pump. Truly, sitting in the hot tub with my wife and watching far-off lightning reflect up into the clouds while watching the stars overhead was incredibly relaxing.

Our family had a wonderful time at Tony’s cabin. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay smooth from start to finish. Check in is super easy and Tony communicated everything we could need to know prior to arrival. We did have to clean out the fire pits inside and outside prior to use, but beyond that everything was exactly as stated and pictured. The location is very private and we were so thankful to enjoy a weekend away with our dog.

It was the perfect girls trip staycation. Cabin is nestled in the woods and is surrounded by beautiful trees. The interior is so cozy and amenities are fantastic. This place was great for a weekend getaway and I have no regrets staying here.
Pros: secluded but still good internet
Host was friendly and quick to respond
Hot tub worked great
Fire pit was large and cozy
Plenty of beds and seating
Lock box makes check in and check out easy
Cons: water did have a gross smell from the minerals (would recommend brushing teeth with bottled water. You’ll also smell like the water after your shower.)
Tile on shower steps could use some attention as the are cracking and coming loose.
Check out time was earlier than most places I’ve stayed at (10am)
Overall I would recommend staying at this location. The host was great at responding and providing any needed help. While the water does have a bad smell as other people mentioned, it’s not a deal breaker. Just bring some bottled water and it’ll be fine for a couple nights. The many amenities will make for a fun getaway.

This was a great place to relax and be away from the city. Our family had a great time. I’d definitely say make sure you have everything before heading back to the cabin from the store as it’s 20 minute drive. Definitely recommend staying here

We enjoyed our stay. Dry private. Took a little while to get to it but the road was paved so that was good. Enjoyed the hot tub They should definitely consider replacing the mattress in the bedroom. No closets so a dresser would be nice.

A wonderful tucked away cabin for a private retreat. My wife and I had an amazing time for our anniversary soaking in the hot tub, hiking the trails nearby, a fully stocked kitchen allowed us to not have to use any of the pots and pans we brought, and a nice big fire pit to warm up next to when it get dark and a bit chilly. Overall a 10/10 experience and we hope to return again next year!

I would give it five stars all the way around.
But just like the previous reviews, the downstairs bed was absolutely horrible. You would have to have the spine of a noodle to be comfortable after twenty minutes of laying in it.
I ignored the comments because I can normally sleep on anything. But I was wrong. haha

The cabin is lovely and secluded- just what we wanted for a tech-free weekend! Check in was easy and the house was well-equipped with the things we needed to make meals and stay cozy. They even had kid plates and utensils that worked for our toddler. 🙂
We hiked at Cacapon Resort State Park (highly recommend!!) and made great use of the fire pit .
All of the mattresses and the couches were new and very comfortable! We slept great and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings!

We were very happy to return for a relaxing four-night getaway over the winter holiday. The place is perfect for a simple and secluded stay in the woods for us and our two outdoor-loving dogs. The listing is accurate in its description of the cabin: it has a woodsy charm and is equipped with all of the comforts of home — all we needed to bring was food and drinks as we don’t like to leave the place to go shopping while we are there. We made great use of the fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and hot tub. Tony & team are always incredibly communicative and responsive, including when we reached out with issues upon check-in. We would absolutely return again in the future!

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was as described and the hot tub and fireplace were amazing. I grilled up some steaks, drank some beer, soaked in the hot tub, and lived it up for the night. I loved my time spent here. Absolute luxury.

Everything was great! Nice cozy private cabin in the woods with fireplace, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. Well equipped kitchen. Internet, heat, and hot water all worked well. Contactless check-in and check-out was simple. Just bring your own firewood and drinking water if you don’t prefer the tap water as advertised. Would stay again!

Overall the cabin fit exactly what I was looking for: a place to get some privacy and relaxation. The photos don’t do it justice, as there are newer couches and kitchen appliances. Plenty of warnings/comments about the water and “rustic”-ness of the cabin set expectations and was not a dealbreaker. The jacuzzi is definitely a plus.
The recent comments about the downstairs mattress was correct sadly, the mattress sunk a lot in the middle (which made my back sore) and we discovered that the mattress was flipped upside down too. Honestly once the mattress gets replaced I’m definitely coming back!

We had a great stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was also very clean. Only down fall was very uncomfortable master bed that needs to be replaced. I noticed it was also written in the memory book provided as well. The location is perfect with a cute town only 20ish minutes away and a few hiking trails to choose from.

Cute Cabin: A little dusty and a little dated, but it’s a nice place to getaway with newer dishes and furniture. The TV is new; it’s not the older one from the photos so you don’t have to pack a DVD player—you can Netflix and chill if that’s your thing. The water pressure isn’t the greatest so you’ll have to spend extra time rinsing your hair. The pillows are big and soft. The cabin allows you to feel secluded. The hot tub feels private. The surrounds are peaceful and you may even catch some deer moving through. My husband & I enjoyed ourselves.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
Pros--secluded, peaceful, rustic. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and looking at the stars! It was pretty clean and the host kept in communication. It was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway.
Cons--The 1st floor bed/mattress is VERY uncomfortable. Definitely needs replaced asap. The cabin could use some overall maintenance repair--there's a cracked window, worn deck steps, etc. Also the unavoidable sulfer water smell.
With a few updates, this cabin could be 5 stars. I hope the adjustments are made soon because we'd love to stay again in the future!

This cabin in the woods is the perfect place for a mental reboot. So quiet and so beautiful. A hummingbird visited us on the deck 3 different times and there were plenty of deer too. We used the fire pit and enjoyed some stargazing with (lucky for us) clear skies.

We had a great time there. Beautiful area tucked away in the mountains. 30 min drive to my favorite Berkeley Springs restaurant The Naked Lounge. We went there to relax in nature and in comfort. We got both.

Very beautiful surrounding area with views of the valley. Cabin is quaint and has an open floor plan. Dining options are a bit limited, but available within 30 minutes.
Bath is an amazingly beautiful small town with hospitable locals during our stay. We loved the local coffee/breakfast spot and had a great time walking around town.
The only downside was the cabins water quality, which was pretty rough. Heavy sulfur smell and probably not great to use as drinking water. My son left the water in the bath overnight and the next morning the whole tub was dark red, likely from a chemical reaction of the heavy metals and oxidation. Owners may want to invest in a water treatment or softening system.
We certainly would stay again, the water quality isn’t nearly enough to keep us from potentially renting in the future.

The place was good enough. Clean with the exception of the rafters in the living room (think spider eggs; ick). The big issue was no one in our group was the least bit interested in showering bc it smelled horrible. We're used to well water at home; but this was next level and stunk the whole cabin up. We purchased a couple large water jugs for drinking and teeth brushing and no one washed hair until we got home. The cabin was perfect for what we were doing otherwise. Great set-up in a beautiful peaceful area.

It's a cabin in the woods so naturally a touch rustic. Water is fine but has a slight tint from iron content (excluding jacuzzi) so you may want to bring some if that bothers you - or not if your iron deficient!

Tony's place was not bad. Alot of the pictures did not match the house. the hot tub was dirty and green from the sulfur water, that also smelt really bad. they did come up and drain it and tell it so it got a little better. the home itself was fine. I personally would not return.

Wonderful getaway in the woods! We saw and heard so much wildlife and could see the stars so clearly at night from the hot tub. The listing was not kidding when they said the water had a slight sulfur smell, and I recommend bringing your own drinking water.

we booked this trip to reconnect as a couple, it's a very intimate setting, some things have changed since the photos were uploaded. The hot tub is on the deck next to the front door, great location, the sectional couch has been replaced by 2 couches, not a big deal. The house was clean and orderly, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. About half and hour to Berkeley Springs, lots of little shops and food and several spa's. Will deff look for one of Tony's listing's again in the future!

This was my a great find, I suggest making all communications on accessing the cabin prior to driving up the mountain, the signal is spotty until you can get on wifi to communicate with the host. Grab everything you need before you get there as its about a 30 min ride back to town so you can relax and enjoy the view and cabin. I love to visit again great place.

This is a cute cabin for a couple but the loft beds can hear everything, even noise from the bathroom. Highly recommend bringing drinking water because both the hot and cold water smell like sulfur. While it was functional, some maintenance is needed: the mantles are not secure, one even fell off the wall when someone closed the door.

This cabin is absolutely ideal! It's in a quiet, peaceful location, but it's easy to find and on a well-paved road. The host, Tony, is easy to get in touch with, and he is proactive with communication. He recommended some local places to eat, and he was super kind.
The water has a bit of a sulfur smell, but it is in next to a town known for mineral springs, so I guess that's to be expected. It is also mentioned in the house manual.
This is a great cabin, and I hope we can come back someday!

We were very happy to return to this cabin in the woods to ring in the new year. Tony is very responsive and provides clear guidance prior to both check-in and check-out. The cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Our two dogs loved exploring the woods and we enjoyed sitting by the fire each evening. The hot tub was a bonus addition from our last stay! The only thing missing this year was snow 🙂 The listing is very accurate, and the cabin is equipped with all the comforts of home - all you really need to bring is food and drink. We look forward to returning in the future!

We had hoped the other reviews exaggerated the issues, but… The bed support is entirely lacking so you sink uncomfortably into the center all night, the fireplace chimney is in disrepair so you will have a great deal of smoke throughout the house, and the water from the faucet will smell up the entire place with a scent of rotten eggs. Other concerns: The hot tub seems to need attention as it was quite foamy; while we were told by the host not to expect anything in the kitchen or firewood to be provided, we were disappointed by just how little was provided (not one cooking oil, no coffee), especially for the nightly rate as compared to the other Airbnbs we’ve had; many of the light and fan fixtures were broken; the area did not feel particularly safe. (Some interesting characters walking around on the roads, some of whom banged on the front door very early in the morning and then continued to roam the private grounds.) We truly wanted to love our stay, but would not return.

Great stay. Had everything we needed and wanted for a little weekend getaway. The only thing was the smell of any of the water coming from the sinks/shower. Resembled eggs. Wasn’t always there but definitely not a great smell. Candles masked the smell.
The home was cozy, comfortable and we had such a great time! Hot tub was maintained well and fire pit was definitely used. Would definitely go again!

My pipes froze and I had family in town. By the grace of God, Tony's cabin was within 1.9 miles of my home. The cabin was a complete lifesaver and perfect for what we needed - heat, water and a wonderful place to stay. The cabin centrally located near hunting, fishing, biking, and both the Great Cacapon and Potomac Rivers. Tony replies instantly to messages and check up on us regularly. The cabin with rustic, clean and affordable. Thank you for saving the day!

Tony is an exceptional host. Very communicative and helpful. The cabin itself is beautiful, and has everything you could need. We utilized the fireplace and hot tub every day. The outdoor fire-pit was great once the wind died down. Our dog absolutely loved venturing around the woods. We will more than likely return to the cabin!
A few things to consider and prepare yourself for that we also saw in the reviews prior to booking:
- the main bed downstairs is really uncomfortable. We slept the second night upstairs in separate beds…which were better, but not by too much. The couches are very comfortable though!
- the water is quite sulphur-y. Be prepared for very smelly showers, sink water, etc. I have been exposed to this through some family members house and this was quite a bit worse. Trips to town for water are easy.
Based on the nightly price, we expected nicer beds and a main waterline filter. Hopefully these are addressed in good time to bring this place up to its true potential

Tony’s cabin felt like staying at your friends grandparents cabin in the woods. Very very private, cozy, and spacious. The hot tub on the porch was lovely and the fireplace was so nice to have fires in. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out in and relax. It could definitely use some love, but with a some fixes/upgrades it could be perfection. Tony was very responsive to all our concerns.
Tips for guests: if you plan to cook meals here I would bring some additional supplies. The pots/pans are not great and I ended up buying and leaving a baking sheet there because there was nothing to cook in the oven with. The water is bad, but filling up in Berkeley Springs was easy and free.

This cabin is a great choice for a rustic escape in the woods, offering seclusion, a cozy A-frame design, and a convenient 2.5 hr drive from DC. We loved the fire pit, large balcony, and especially the hot tub, which was ready upon arrival. However, there were some challenges: the Wi-Fi was spotty, the Roku TV required an account, the stove was finicky, and the fireplace, while lovely, created a lot of smoke inside. The main bed had a dip in the middle, which affected comfort, and the dishwasher didn’t work, requiring handwashing at the end of our stay. The well water also had a sulfur smell as others reviews mentioned, which was manageable. Despite these quirks, the cabin provided the authentic, woodsy atmosphere we were looking for, with plenty of towels, percolated coffee, and a charming location. If you’re after a peaceful, rustic experience and don’t mind a few rough edges, it’s a wonderful spot to unwind and connect with nature.

Friendly, proactive hosts. The cabin was clean and ready for us. Electrical and wifi worked great. We enjoyed the solitude and wildlife (lots of deer and frogs). The fire pit is big enough for a bonfire, we had to stretch to do smores. The water pressure is very low, it was hard to wash your hands let alone shower. The water is full of minerals, our dog's bowl was mostly brown. We visited the baths in Berkeley Springs and filled up bottles with free, delicious, spring water. Be aware that the master bed has an old foam mattress that is no good if you suffer from back or joint pain.

It suited our needs adequately.
It was perfect for relaxation and the giant fire pit out front was very inviting.
I loved sitting on the porch. I loved opening the windows to fall asleep to the sounds of the outdoors.
Two of our three days we watched deer.
Tony's communication was very good.
The biggest distraction to me was a very long list of maintenance items that needed addressed. None were earth shattering and everything was completely livable. But there are many "Berkley Springs area" cabins for similar cost and significantly better maintained.

Tony was great! The cabin was very easy to get to and looked just like the photos. During the night a tree fell across the driveway and Tony answered right away was able to get it cleared out quickly. The hot tub was so amazing! My husband did get a tick on him so make sure after you walk the woods you look for ticks!

Tony's cabin was truly an oasis of peace and quiet. The only sounds were the wind in the treetops, the crackling of the fireI had laid in, and the subtle hum of the hot tub pump. Truly, sitting in the hot tub with my wife and watching far-off lightning reflect up into the clouds while watching the stars overhead was incredibly relaxing.

Our family had a wonderful time at Tony’s cabin. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay smooth from start to finish. Check in is super easy and Tony communicated everything we could need to know prior to arrival. We did have to clean out the fire pits inside and outside prior to use, but beyond that everything was exactly as stated and pictured. The location is very private and we were so thankful to enjoy a weekend away with our dog.

We enjoyed our stay at this rustic cabin. The hot tub, fireplace, and fire ring were perfect for our use. We also appreciated the privacy and peacefulness of the property. The water might be safe to drink if you can ignore the look, smell, and taste. We got water at berkeley springs, which was much more satisfactory. If you like firm, comfortable beds, I don't recommend this cabin. We ended up with backaches every morning of our stay. If you are looking for a mountain experience and don't mind doing without the comforts of home - this cabin will be perfect for you.

Tony's place was absolutely incredible! It was so peaceful and beautiful and the home was exactly as listed! He was also very kind and responsive every time I needed to reach out. Highly recommend staying here as I know we'll be back!

This place was great for a weekend getaway and I have no regrets staying here.
Pros: secluded but still good internet
Host was friendly and quick to respond
Hot tub worked great
Fire pit was large and cozy
Plenty of beds and seating
Lock box makes check in and check out easy
Cons: water did have a gross smell from the minerals (would recommend brushing teeth with bottled water. You’ll also smell like the water after your shower.)
Tile on shower steps could use some attention as the are cracking and coming loose.
Check out time was earlier than most places I’ve stayed at (10am)
Overall I would recommend staying at this location. The host was great at responding and providing any needed help. While the water does have a bad smell as other people mentioned, it’s not a deal breaker. Just bring some bottled water and it’ll be fine for a couple nights. The many amenities will make for a fun getaway.

This was a great place to relax and be away from the city. Our family had a great time. I'd definitely say make sure you have everything before heading back to the cabin from the store as it's 20 minute drive. Definitely recommend staying here
