I am writing this review on behalf of my husband for whom I rented this cabin so that he could have a quiet weekend alone. The property has a huge deck and plenty of outdoor chairs! Tony was responsive. The ambience and the charm of this property definitely fits the cabin vibe, offering restorative relaxation.

Quaint, adorable cabin with stunning views, so cozy and peaceful! The hot tub was hot, the place was very clean, the deck was awesome and the cabin well appointed. The location is pretty remote so if you are arriving after dark it can be a little unsettling. But overall it was the quintessential cabin in the mountains!

This A-frame cabin nestled in a serene corner of West Virginia delivered an unforgettable experience. The cabin itself was cozy and beautifully designed, providing a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.
One of the standout features was the hot tub, which offered a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding nature. Watching the sun rise from the spacious deck was simply magical.
In the evenings, we enjoyed gathering around the fire pit and again for breakfast. This cabin truly provided the ideal backdrop for a peaceful getaway, and I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to escape and unwind in nature.

We had a great time at the cabin. There were 4 of us in our party. There was room for 5 more in the loft bedroom if needed & 2 on the couch if needed. Could definitely market a lot better with a spiral staircase or different staircase to lift bedroom but it works the way it is. 🙂

We stayed just a night here but it was the perfect place to rest at for our road trip. Amazing Mountain View’s, surround by trees and perfect night to stargaze on the deck, nice little towns nearby. Peaceful and private just what we were looking for. Nice little cabin that matched exactly how it is in the pictures. Nothing to complain about whatsoever. Thank you Tony!

This was my first time using Air BnB so I was slightly nervous about the whole process. The host was beyond helpful and extremely responsive. The house was absolutely spotless- whoever the cleaner is does a fantastic job. Linens were all clean, bathroom was spotless, and the property was clear of debris and highly maintained. I could not express how impressed I am with the house we stayed at. The price was beyond reasonable. Will 100% be coming back! The house is very private and the environment is very peaceful. Overall, 10/10.

Tony’s cabin was perfect, the place was cozy and clean, and Tony was always available every time I had a question. The location was as advertised with incredible views, a quiet forest, and respectful neighbors. We felt right at home and will be back next year for the 2026 WV Open.

The cabin was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The view from the porch was absolutely breathtaking and made the whole stay feel special. Wonderful views! Lots of wildlife. Easy to get to Berkeley Springs. Home is aged but still in good shape. Whoever cleans your house maybe have a little talk with them about cleanliness. I live in the country myself and bugs and things don’t bother me but I don’t like having to clean hair out of bathtub drain. Maybe trim grass/weeds(taller than chairs) around the fire pit. Chiggers were not fun! Tony was very proactive and always answer questions I had. Thanks for the stay!

We enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surroundings of Tony’s place. Although we were there during a heat wave, we managed to enjoy the scenery, the deck and the grill.

We had a good time at the cabin. Despite the poor weather, the views were great and it was really quiet.
The house itself is showing its age. The furniture is worn and the home itself could use some painting and general freshening up, but we had a good time nonetheless.
Tony and Blue Maple were very responsive.

The cabin was cleaned well, smelled clean (not musty at all) and we didn’t encounter excessive bugs, etc. It is well equipped for a short stay. It is rustic and definitely shows wear and tear but that is represented in the listing (and even expected, given the cabin is dog-friendly). The view from the deck is lovely and it gets pleasantly breezy at night. Plenty of outdoor seating. The living room does get hot in the afternoon/evening but each bedroom is cooled by a floor or wall A/C. The host is very responsive.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this mountain house over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and stunning views. The house is perched perfectly to offer sweeping vistas of the surrounding forest and mountains.

It was a beautiful view and cozy home! If you have bad dust allergies I wouldn’t recommend this stay. There was a lot of dust in the bedrooms and looked like that wasn’t dusted in a while. I had a hard time with my breathing here. I’d also recommend bringing your own kitchen supplies and pans it definitely felt like camping with not the best supplies. Gorgeous view and the hottub was nice, but a little dirty as well. Enjoyed it overall just think there could be more cleaning involved. Appreciate the stay though 🙂 and the host was good at responding back

This was our first Airbnb ever. I was hesitant at first but decided to give it a shot. The cabin was situated in a gorgeous area. The view was spectacular. The host, Tony, was easily accessible and checked on us to see how we were doing. He was quick to respond if you had a question or needed suggestions as to where to go for a hike.
We definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing get away!

It was a nice quiet cabin in the mountains. I had been looking forward to the view from the pictures but it was significantly obstructed from the natural tree overgrowth but we still enjoyed the surroundings. It was a nice getaway. The communication was excellent.

We’ve stayed at other AirBnB places near Berkeley Springs but this was the best experience we’ve had by far. The cabin was in a gorgeous location with amazing views. My family enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great in the evenings. The privacy of the location was also an asset — especially getting in and out of the hot tub. WiFi was strong and we had no connectivity issues.

Cottage and location were beautiful. Downtown (27 mins away) shuts down by 5pm so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a later dinner at a restaurant. This is obviously out of the control of the host but just giving a heads up.
Morning views, the bonfire pit, the fun loft (perfect for kids), and the hot tub were some of our favorite memories from the trip. Wish we could have spotted a black bear! Maybe next time.

Great, friendly, and responsive host and an awesome, quiet view!
Note: The place was much older and in worse shape than the pictures show (cosmetic stains and wear on main areas/furniture, large holes in screens) but the kitchen/bathroom amenities were great and as described!
If you have a medical condition please note: The AC was floor/wall units in the bedrooms but none were in the main living areas. It was 82° inside the house despite running the AC units and keeping the curtains shut. It was in the upper 80s during the day outside when we were there.
Overall, it was very quiet, safe, and peaceful despite those things!

Beautiful stay with a spectacular view! Tony was an incredible host, very responsive and made great recommendations. We enjoyed eating outside on the deck with the view and the firepit was so relaxing in the evening. Perfect for s’mores! It is important to note that Berkley Springs is about a 25 minute drive away on a windy road down the mountain and the neighborhood to get to the cabin is a gravel road (approx. 8 min. drive). We enjoyed the Bath House in Berkley Springs and river tubing with Cacapon River Outfitters. The cabin was as described, just a little older and needed some TLC, but overall an incredible getaway.

This place is beautiful and peaceful. The house manual is all you can possibly think of to ask. The house was ready prior to check out time and Tony let us know and offered the home earlier than promised. The view is breath taking and there is a lot of wild life in the area. The hot tub and fire pit were a lot of fun and he has games in the house if you just want to stay in. I highly recommend this place. The space is great and the host is great.

Loved our stay at the cabin! The view was gorgeous and exactly like it was shown in the pictures. There was plenty of room for 4 of us and 2 dogs to move around the cabin, and all of the amenities listed were there. We just wish we’d stayed for another day to enjoy it all some more!

This place is really beautiful – the views are just spectacular and the location feels both intimate and cozy. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains; using the hot tub in the cool evenings, cooking dinner together and telling stories up in the loft. It had everything we needed for a girl’s retreat with 4 women, and felt enormously rejuvenative. Thank you for hosting us, we really loved it.

The best! The porch and hot tub looked over a beautiful view of the ridge. We went in March, and even though the trees were leafless the view was still wonderful. Also, super cozy – it is an open kitchen so it was so fun to be able to talk to whoever you are with from any area in the house. The loft was also a fun detail of this place – the ladder is a little intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it you’ll be okay. Overall, this place is a hidden gem – peaceful, cute, and the perfect weekend getaway!

Tony was incredibly responsive and helpful in preparing for my stay. He offered a ton of recommendations, but honestly the property provided so much peace and relaxation that I stayed at the site the entire time. Dog friendly which made it a great place to bring my pup. The home is super quaint with an incredible view. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the place was clean and just want I needed for a change in scenery. Wifi worked great for those that work remotely. I will definitely be back in the summer or fall time!

Pretty neat spot and not too far. The loft is very cute, even tho it’s tough to get up there. The deck had amazing views and it was so quiet in that area. No neighbours (at the time of this review). The wood stove inside was not only a cool thing to use, it was essential for the chilly winter mornings. Tony was very responsive when questions did arise. He even offered to refund us money if we purchased coffee.
The town doesn’t really have much going on from we experienced, but cute small town vibes with nice people.
I read some reviews prior to staying here and a lot of people said that it was “dated” or seemed “used” and the photos were old. I would pay any attention to those as this property and the photos were accurate. I would say the only thing that doesn’t make this a 10/10 stay would be the amount of dried up lady bugs by the balcony door. It was very apparent that no cleaning was done in that area. Otherwise, it was clean and tidy everywhere else. Would recommend a stay here.

Very unclean, couches were stained and ripped. Trash on the outside of property. Could not utilize the hot tub or picnic table due to it being overgrown. The ac was leaking onto the electrical outlet below. We left as soon as we got there.

The view from the deck is lovely and it gets pleasantly breezy at night. Plenty of outdoor seating. The living room does get hot in the afternoon/evening but each bedroom is cooled by a floor or wall A/C. The host is very responsive.

Great spot! Very private, exactly what we wanted for a peaceful weekend! Tony maintains the house well, smells good and all. We felt it was a bit pricey for just us as a couple! Tony was very communicative which was nice!

Tony’s place is a decent cabin with a beautiful view. He was very proactive via text but most of his texts were copy-pasted for what seemed like multiple properties during all seasons and were sometimes irrelevant or confusing. The bugs, crumbs, stains, tears, etc. were much worse than we anticipated (and we love to stay in rustic cabins). The photos are clearly of the same space but from much better days. We were happy to do our part to take care of the property but it didn’t feel worth the cost nor was the cabin’s condition reflected in the photos and description. The cabin is not suited for those who are sensitive to musty smells.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this mountain house over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings and stunning views. The house is perched perfectly to offer sweeping vistas of the surrounding forest and mountains.
The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth.

It was a beautiful view and cozy home! If you have bad dust allergies I wouldn’t recommend this stay. There was a lot of dust in the bedrooms and looked like that wasn’t dusted in a while. I had a hard time with my breathing here. I’d also recommend bringing your own kitchen supplies and pans it definitely felt like camping with not the best supplies. Gorgeous view and the hottub was nice, but a little dirty as well. Enjoyed it overall just think there could be more cleaning involved. Appreciate the stay though 🙂 and the host was good at responding back

Positives: The view to the cabin is amazing, nice secluded place, hot tub appeared clean, quick response once checked in (did not answer prior to check in about possibility of an early check in). Check in process was easy.
Negatives: cabin was not clean. Dishes had to be cleaned prior to using as there was food particles on the pans and lips markings on the cups. Blankets did not smell clean but the sheets appeared clean. Literal dirty hand prints were all over the wall next to the and behind the couches.

The view was beautiful! But our overall experience was not as we had hoped and was damaged by the experience we had with the host as well as cleanliness. There is a no smoking sign, but there seems to be stains from smoking on a bit of the walls. The bathroom had stains along the walls and seemed like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. We were mostly bothered with being left with a quarter roll of toilet paper for five people (bring your own). We were also promised the driveway would be cleaned during our stay (8-10 inches of snow). We primarily didn’t cancel because of this promise. I messaged the host every day and was told “your cabin is on the list” or “still waiting for updates”. The driveway was never cleaned. We’re understanding people and would have accepted an apology or a “they won’t be able to make it” but didn’t get either of those. Would not stay with this host ever again. Never solved any issues and never apologized for anything. I Don’t recommend staying with this host.

This was our first Airbnb ever. I was hesitant at first but decided to give it a shot. The cabin was situated in a gorgeous area. The view was spectacular. The host, Tony, was easily accessible and checked on us to see how we were doing. He was quick to respond if you had a question or needed suggestions as to where to go for a hike.
We definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing get away!

It was a nice quiet cabin in the mountains. I had been looking forward to the view from the pictures but it was significantly obstructed from the natural tree overgrowth but we still enjoyed the surroundings. It was a nice getaway. The communication was excellent.

We've stayed at other AirBnB places near Berkeley Springs but this was the best experience we've had by far. The cabin was in a gorgeous location with amazing views. My family enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great in the evenings. The privacy of the location was also an asset -- especially getting in and out of the hot tub. WiFi was strong and we had no connectivity issues.

Cottage and location were beautiful. Downtown (27 mins away) shuts down by 5pm so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a later dinner at a restaurant. This is obviously out of the control of the host but just giving a heads up.
Morning views, the bonfire pit, the fun loft (perfect for kids), and the hot tub were some of our favorite memories from the trip. Wish we could have spotted a black bear! Maybe next time.

Great, friendly, and responsive host and an awesome, quiet view!
Note: The place was much older and in worse shape than the pictures show (cosmetic stains and wear on main areas/furniture, large holes in screens) but the kitchen/bathroom amenities were great and as described!
If you have a medical condition please note: The AC was floor/wall units in the bedrooms but none were in the main living areas. It was 82° inside the house despite running the AC units and keeping the curtains shut. It was in the upper 80s during the day outside when we were there.
Overall, it was very quiet, safe, and peaceful despite those things!

Beautiful stay with a spectacular view! Tony was an incredible host, very responsive and made great recommendations. We enjoyed eating outside on the deck with the view and the firepit was so relaxing in the evening. Perfect for s'mores! It is important to note that Berkley Springs is about a 25 minute drive away on a windy road down the mountain and the neighborhood to get to the cabin is a gravel road (approx. 8 min. drive). We enjoyed the Bath House in Berkley Springs and river tubing with Cacapon River Outfitters. The cabin was as described, just a little older and needed some TLC, but overall an incredible getaway.

Unfortunately we had some issues with our stay- the cleaners did not do their job. Grill needs replaced, trees need trimmed so you can actually see the view. Ultimately we ended up leaving and going to a hotel. Very uncomfortable. Tony was great though with communication and will be addressing the issues.

This place is beautiful and peaceful. The house manual is all you can possibly think of to ask. The house was ready prior to check out time and Tony let us know and offered the home earlier than promised. The view is breath taking and there is a lot of wild life in the area. The hot tub and fire pit were a lot of fun and he has games in the house if you just want to stay in. I highly recommend this place. The space is great and the host is great.

Loved our stay at the cabin! The view was gorgeous and exactly like it was shown in the pictures. There was plenty of room for 4 of us and 2 dogs to move around the cabin, and all of the amenities listed were there. We just wish we'd stayed for another day to enjoy it all some more!

This place is really beautiful - the views are just spectacular and the location feels both intimate and cozy. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountains; using the hot tub in the cool evenings, cooking dinner together and telling stories up in the loft. It had everything we needed for a girl’s retreat with 4 women, and felt enormously rejuvenative. Thank you for hosting us, we really loved it.

The location and the general build of the cabin are both great. However the place is not well cleaned. The pots and pans are old and greasy. The water tastes funky and the Brita filter is dirty. The coffee pot is not cleaned from previous use. The place has obscene number of lady bugs in the lofted area. Bathroom is stained. The place is also fairly dusty in general so my allergy to dust mites was really acting up. We did really enjoy the view and the location but how dirty the place was really affected the quality of the stay.

The best! The porch and hot tub looked over a beautiful view of the ridge. We went in March, and even though the trees were leafless the view was still wonderful. Also, super cozy - it is an open kitchen so it was so fun to be able to talk to whoever you are with from any area in the house. The loft was also a fun detail of this place - the ladder is a little intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll be okay. Overall, this place is a hidden gem - peaceful, cute, and the perfect weekend getaway!

Tony was incredibly responsive and helpful in preparing for my stay. He offered a ton of recommendations, but honestly the property provided so much peace and relaxation that I stayed at the site the entire time. Dog friendly which made it a great place to bring my pup. The home is super quaint with an incredible view. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the place was clean and just want I needed for a change in scenery. Wifi worked great for those that work remotely. I will definitely be back in the summer or fall time!

Beautiful location! Very quiet and private. It snowed during our stay and Tony was very good about messaging us the day before to make sure we were aware of the snow, inform us about the roads, and remind us to get supplies etc. Overall, a great location and an amazing host!

Pretty neat spot and not too far. The loft is very cute, even tho it’s tough to get up there. The deck had amazing views and it was so quiet in that area. No neighbours (at the time of this review). The wood stove inside was not only a cool thing to use, it was essential for the chilly winter mornings. Tony was very responsive when questions did arise. He even offered to refund us money if we purchased coffee.
The town doesn’t really have much going on from we experienced, but cute small town vibes with nice people.
I read some reviews prior to staying here and a lot of people said that it was “dated” or seemed “used” and the photos were old. I would pay any attention to those as this property and the photos were accurate. I would say the only thing that doesn’t make this a 10/10 stay would be the amount of dried up lady bugs by the balcony door. It was very apparent that no cleaning was done in that area. Otherwise, it was clean and tidy everywhere else. Would recommend a stay here.

I was visiting the area with a couple of guests and overall our stay went great! The owner was very communicable which was extremely helpful. If you are looking for a location that has beautiful scenery, I definitely recommend Tony’s location. One of my favorite things to do was sit out on the deck and enjoy the view. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay!

The location was beautiful, very secluded but easy to find. The hot tub was lovely. Tony communicated throughly and frequently, except an issue with a hot tub technician (we were notified of day-of). We loved having additional throw blankets available. Couch was comfy. The kitchen was well appointed. Loved being able to bring our pup.
However, this listing is overpriced, even with the hot tub. The pictures are technically accurate, but it is dingy, outdated, smelly, and lacks basic upkeep. The TV is tiny and old. There are random nails sticking out of walls. Outlets hanging from the drywall. Floors were filthy and we decided not to use the shower (moldy, stained). We made the best of it, but wouldn’t recommend for the price.

Great view, sadly we feel the pictures for this listing is when they first listed it. You could clearly see that they allow pets there due to the wear and tear so it was stained and ripped and very worn through that when you sat in it, you sank to the bottom. I would suggest to get either a vinyl or leather sofa since the pets are allowed so then you can easily wipe any stains. Supposedly the cleaners just left when we got there that day I would expect the floors to be vacuumed but tons of dead Beatles were all on the ground and pet hair and a lot of dust. Our family are outdoor campers so we do like to rough it we just thought this cabin we know it’s out in the woods and expect critters and all that but we were expected it to be cleaner since based on the pictures it looked fresh and newer. But when you get there, it’s very dingy and worn and needs some fresh coats of paint a good clean, and a new sofa. I feel you need to post current pictures so others know what you pay for.

The stay was totally fine but not nearly as nice as it looks in the photos and really underwhelming for $500 a night. At that price I'd expect simple things like a bedside table on each side of the bed, easy access to plugs for charging, not having to take the trash out ourselves, handwash all dishes, and a checkout later than 10 am. The parts of the house that are most used (bathroom sink, kitchen countertop, etc) are definitely clean but the rest of the house feels pretty neglected and dirty. The view is lovely but the house is in a sort of development so it doesn't feel nearly as secluded as we'd hoped. Tony is very communicative but it took away from our short trip to be constantly getting reminders about checking out and cleaning up. We left our dog leash behind and he was able to get it sent back to us which was nice (but for a $20 fee on top of the cost of shipping).
