Beautiful private cozy cottage. With a fire pit and a hot tub what more can you ask for. We loved the loft and the bed was very comfortable. It was everything we needed and more for a perfect and lovely romantic Christmas.

The scenery is truly beautiful and very peaceful, tucked away in the woods atop a mountain. I recommend using a truck or a vehicle equipped with four-wheel drive, as some of the areas along the way to the house have quite steep hills. When it snowed, it became a bit more challenging to get up the hill, so caution is advised. The hot tub was a delightful addition, and I enjoyed relaxing there while watching the snow fall.
The property is generally quite clean, though I believe it could benefit from some updates. Additionally, I noticed that a bit more attention to detail during cleaning would make a difference; for example, there was mouse droppings in the cabinets and drawers. We understand that being in the woods can sometimes lead to mice entering the space, but it may be helpful for the cleaning staff to check those areas more thoroughly. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, and I would certainly recommend this place. We also look forward to booking again in the future.

Very good spot I enjoyed it. Very secluded nice to hang out in but if yoy want to go and do things the this wouldn’t be the spot for you I wanted a weekend get away and it was perfect for just that

Tony’s cabin is nestled in the woods, very private, and it was a nice retreat for our weekend trip. We loved the hot tub! Tony was also very responsive and proactive throughout.

Great secluded location if you are looking to get away from the city and reconnect with Nature! The cabin was very cozy, the hot tub was great and you are nestled right by lost river. Also, there are a lot of things to do in the area. Be sure to bring food/supplies to the cabin since you will be about 20-25 mins away from downtown.

the stay was absolutely amazing. My friends and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and everything that the house has to offer. Tony was very responsive and helpful with guiding on the wonderful surroundings that the area had to offer.

Tony’s place was a wonderful get away for a couple days! absolutely beautiful scenery, and I can only imagine how much more beautiful the location is is peak fall foliage or in winter. The closest gas/store is only about 15 minutes (or less) away, but stocking up before you get there is the smart move.
the road up to the house is a bit rough – but we handled it in a compact SUV with front wheel drive.
the place is well stocked – kitchen gear, games, Cornhole. the space heaters were nice to make it extra toasty and cozy.
the hot tub is absolutely wonderful.
My only issue was the Wi-Fi speed, but with a little bit of patience it was fine.

We love West Virginia and this home and the surroundings were the at the top of small mountain with beauty and privacy. Also everything we wanted to do were within an hours drive. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit which only added to the ambiance If you choose this home for a get-a-way you won’t regret it!

The place was incredible! Ideal for a full work detox, with no other houses nearby and tons of beautiful nature in the surroundings. Getting to enjoy that from a hot tub is definitely the highlight. Tony was a great host, very communicative and always available.

Tony was extremely helpful and responsive, our stay was great. From clear instructions to walking us through them. I’ve nothing but good things to say about this trip. The cabin was clean and ready for us, it’s a beautiful remote and peaceful cabin. Simply just what we wanted for our weekend getaway!

The sulfuric smell of the water is worth knowing about, as I would bring your own water bottles. Other than that we had a very nice stay and the amenities like the hot tub and fire pit were very enjoyable. The gravel path is a little rough to drive on but if you go slow it is fine.

beautiful cabin, loved the hot tub and yard. beautiful interior as well! would definitely book if you are looking for a weekend alone with your loved ones (especially if you’re looking for peace and quiet). the host was very reliable and was there to answer any questions we had!

The cabin was clean, quiet, and really well-located if you’re looking to get away and be surrounded by nature. It had everything I needed and felt private and peaceful.
Only downside was the water—it had a noticeable smell. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. I’d recommend bringing bottled water for drinking.
Overall, a solid stay and I’d come back.

My overall stay was peaceful! there was just some things that needed work. The water does have an unpleasant smell due to it coming from the tank. The microwave didn’t work but the oven did so we were still able to heat up the food. It is one bedroom and a loft. The hot tub was nice and hot it just was a little dirty when we had arrived, the lights around the hot tub didn’t work to it was pretty dark in the deck with the hot tub . It is well advised to DRIVE AN SUV OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE even in the summer time.

Very cute cabin in a really peaceful area near Lost River. The water in the cabin though really smells of sulfur.
The host said it was safe to drink but I would bring drinking water. Also it seemed like they were using a chatbot or something to reply to us. I asked where the trash cans were and he just replied that I needed to take out all trash not where the cans were (we eventually found them.) Definitely a cute place and we enjoyed our stay in spite of that.

This place was gorgeous. Felt like a “camp” but had everything we would’ve needed plus a hot tub. Now I’m not sure if I skipped over the whole dirt road thing or what but it’s definitely something to keep in mind, my husband made it 15 minutes before I did bc I’m in a car & he’s in a truck and there’s a few holes and what not so I went slow . We had reserved it the day of so I guess there was a mix up with the cleaner and we walked into a place someone else had just checked out of . No biggy ! Cleaning fee refunded without me even asking !!! I washed the bedding myself and then the housekeeper came and got us new towels and everything also without me asking 😊 Host was very understanding and even offered us a discount on a second night but we sadly couldn’t stay or we definitely would’ve . If you’re looking for somewhere in the woods ( horses at the bottom of the hill were a HUGE perk ) my little one loved them. This is the place to go! Overall it was a great stay

We had a very nice stay and the place was very cute. The microwave didn’t work, but that could have been said somewhere and I just missed it. There was a plate of half eaten food left that was in the top of one of the cabinets. other than that everything was great.

Such an amazing stay! Tony’s place was wonderful and super clean. I enjoyed everything in this stay, I will definitely be booking again. Tony was very responsive at a good timely manner with any questions I had.
If you’re looking for a stay somewhere were its secluded but not too alone, then this is the perfect place. There are other homes in the area but not super close, you will still have privacy.

Really cozy place. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. Instructions were very clear. The hot tub was such a great amenity to have. However, we did noticed a sulfur smell in all the water. Other than that, all great!

Positive:
The cabin has everything you need for a pleasant stay away from city life. The property is extremely nice and clean. It was especially nice having the firepit there, where you could bring your own wood for a cozy fire.
Negative:
The only criticism I have is for the bed. The mattress was uncomfortable.

The house has an open loft with a king bed and closed room with a queen bed and one bathroom. The place was clean but it definitely felt rundown and could use some maintenance (all the doors inside the house were broken or off the hinges). It’s located on a gravel road that made us glad we had our small SUV as it was very rutted in places, particularly on the steep hills coming in. You’re off the beaten path, which is nice. But that comes with some annoyances, like mice, which we saw inside, and lots of spiders. The kitchen was in order but the water had a very pungent sulfur smell. Don’t think that’s harmful or anything but it could be intense for some. The beds were pretty comfortable and the WiFi worked great. There’s a functioning gas grill, fairly clean hot tub, and a fire pit on property, all of which were nice to have. My only qualm is that in order to access the house manual you had to register your email and contact info on a separate site, which I didn’t love.

I originally wanted to stay at another cabin with an amazing view, only at the last minute to be changed to another cabin without the view at the same price. Their where no outside trash cans as described in house rules. The water smelled like rotten eggs could not really shower or brush my teeth I wanted to throw up. Do not recommend as the bed was like sleeping on a rock and currently having back pain. I wanted to get away to relax not to be in worse shape than I was before I left!
